THURSDAY

[Verse] 9. The tears of repentance become a basin and wash away the multitude of sins; through them grant [us], before the end, expiation and your great mercy.

Ps[alm]. My soul thirsts for you, O God, mighty and living; when shall I come and appear before the face of God? My tears have been my food by day and by night, while they said to me continually, "Where is your God?" Through this, grant [grace].

*Pʿox* [*pʿox* (antiphonal versicle)]: When You come in the glory of the Father on the dreadful day to judge the earth, and all of us earth-born tremble with terror before Your dread presence, as You sit upon the tribunal, O awe-inspiring Judge, and cast Your gaze upon [all] creatures: remember me also, a multi-sinner, who am engulfed in transgressions through the deception of the Slanderer; and I plead [like] the thief: "Lord, remember me also, You who alone are Savior," and save [me]!
