[DEACON / PRIEST]: For the peace from above and for the salvation of our souls, let us beseech the Lord. [CHOIR:] Lord, have mercy. [DEACON / PRIEST:] For the voice of our supplications to be heard by the Lord God, let us beseech the Lord. For God to be the expiator and forgiver of our sins, let us beseech the Lord. For Him to forgive us all our transgressions, voluntary and involuntary, let us beseech the Lord. That we may not be found among the rejected on the day of giving account, let us beseech the Lord. For the souls of those at rest who have fallen asleep in Christ in true and upright faith, let us beseech the Lord. [CHOIR:] Remember, Lord, and have mercy.
