In that dreadful public assembly, remember this [soul] on the terrible day; rank [him/her] on high. The secrets of men are revealed, every deed that was committed; the doers of good are crowned, and the [doers of] evil are delivered into the unquenchable fire. In that hour, remember this [soul’s] good deeds; let the works of [his/her] sins be blotted out; rank [him/her on high]. Diverse crowns are woven, and luminous robes are placed upon the heads of the holy martyrs and adorn the righteous. Through their supplication, make this [soul] a partaker of the light of their glory; rank [him/her] on high. From glory to glory they ascend; those on the right hand are exalted when they hear the beatific voice of blessing from Your calling. Cause our departed [brother/sister] to hear Your divine voice; rank [him/her] on high. Priests and people, we beseech You, O merciful Lord: receive this [soul] in that same hope alongside those who have fallen asleep in faith, into the celestial city of Jerusalem wherein the righteous are assembled, to sing glory forever with them unto Your Trinity of three Persons.
