The Lord loves the righteous; the Lord preserves the strangers; the Lord receives the orphans and the widows, and destroys the ways of the ungodly. Աստուծոյ մերում քաղցր եղիցի օրհնութիւն: Շինէ զԵրուսաղէմ Տէր . և զցրուեալսն իսրայէլի ժողովէ : Բժշկէ զբեկեալ սիրտս , և պատէ զամե- նայն վէրս նոցա : Ո՞ թուէ զբազմութիւն աստեղաց . և զամե- նեսեան զնոսա յանուանէ կոչէ : Մեծ է Տէր , և մեծ է զօրութիւն նորա . իմաստութեան նորա ո՛չ գոյ բաւ : Ընդունի զհեզս Տէր . և խոնարհ առնէ զամբարտաւանս մինչև յերկիր :

Praise the Lord, for a psalm is good; to our God may praise be sweet. The Lord builds up Jerusalem, and gathers the dispersed of Israel. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up all their wounds. He numbers the multitude of the stars, and calls them all by [their] names. Great is the Lord, and great is his power; of his wisdom there is no measure. The Lord receives the meek, and brings the proud low even to the ground.
