Who shall speak the mighty acts of the Lord, [or] make all His praises heard? Blessed are they who keep justice and do righteousness at all times. Remember us, O Lord, with the favor [shown] to Your people, and visit us with Your salvation. That we may see the goodness of Your chosen, that we may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and that we may glory in Your inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers; we have committed iniquity and transgressed.

[HE] WHO WAS [ĒI].

He delivered them into the hands of the Gentiles; those who hated them ruled over them, and their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought low under their hands. Alleluia, [melisma], alleluia. Many times He delivered them, but they provoked Him with their counsels, and were brought low in their iniquity. The Lord looked upon their affliction, when He heard the voice of their prayer. He remembered His covenant, and relented according to the multitude of His mercy, and He gave them over to compassion before all their captors.
