[By] the same Lord Nersēs, Catholicos of the Armenians: a prayer-song [addressed] to the Holy Trinity, as well as to each Person of the Trinity individually.

Morning of light, righteous sun, shine forth light upon me. Emanation from the Father, spring forth in my soul words pleasing to Thee. Treasure of mercy, make me a finder of Thy hidden treasure. Door of mercy, open unto me who confess [Thee]; number [me] among the celestial hosts. Triune Unity, providential Caretaker of created beings, have mercy also upon me. Awaken, O Lord, to help; rouse the slumbering to be like the watchful [angels]. Thou Who art the unoriginate Father, the co-essential Son, [and] ever the Holy Spirit. Receive me, O Compassionate One; receive [me], O Merciful One; receive [me], O Lover of mankind. King of glory, Giver of pardons, forgive me my transgressions. Gatherer of good things, gather me also into the assembly of the firstborn.
