Look at the black fallow! The mouse in its mouth, [O] kestrel, hey, [you] oxen, pull! Ah, it is too much, sweet dear, the burden on your back is too much! Blessed is God, remembered is God! Ah, my grandfather’s plow, [the] work of God; [I am] a sacrifice to your furrow! Come on, you young of the water-buffalo, [our] dappled ox, hey, you shall get the switch!
