If you are able to go to church, go without delay; but if you are not able, say your customary prayers at home. Give thanks to God that He brought you to the morning through a restful sleep that night; and ask of God that He may keep [you] on that same day in peace and without sin. 4. On feast days and Sundays, go to church without fail. First cross yourselves, say the Lord’s Prayer, and pray kneeling; and then in silence attend to the divine office and the holy liturgy. 5. Do not pray aloud in church, lest the intention and prayer of others be hindered; and let it not be that you abandon attention to the spiritual services and converse with one another. Rather, in silence lift up your minds unto God, that you may not be unfruitful; for the Apostle saith: “I will pray with the spirit...”
